John Witt is a native Kentuckian who was born and raised on a small farm just outside of Lexington. A graduate of the University of Kentucky’s College of Agriculture with a BS in Agricultural Economics, John has more than 15 years of consumer, commercial and agricultural banking experience. In addition to his career in financial services, John also has experience raising and marketing his own tobacco and hay crops.

As the National Director of Leasing, John oversees the origination and processing of all leasing transactions. John manages the lease portfolio and is responsible for the continuing education of lease products with the AgFi sales team and for the development of lease market strategies. John enjoys working directly with his own farm clients as well and continues to be active with the UK College of Agriculture since moving to Louisville with his wife, Casey in 2014. John and Casey have two children, Woody and Claire.
