Alan has been involved in providing short and long term credit to agricultural enterprises for 40 years. His experience includes working with farmers and ranchers across a large portion of the US, including production of numerous agricultural commodities. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Economics, Alan joined the Farm Credit System – starting at Green River PCA in Western Kentucky and then with the Louisville District Farm Credit Banks. Since 1989, Alan has been active in agricultural secondary market lending. He has also been an instructor for various agricultural credit seminars sponsored by the American Bankers Association, Independent Bankers Association, and the Risk Management Association. He has co-authored article in the Purdue University Ag-Economics Newsletter and The Journal of Lending & Credit Risk Management.
